New numbers require one-time carrier registration (A2P 10DLC) before texting goes live — registration fees are billed at carrier cost with no markup, and approval typically takes 1–3 weeks. Calling & texting. Included minutes and texts cover the U.S. & Canada. Each MMS (picture/video) counts as 3 texts. Inbound texts are free and don't count against your plan. Included volumes are shared across all numbers on your account.
