What is a work order in Floor Nexus?
A Floor Nexus work order is the crew-facing job record created from a won or approved flooring project. It can hold the scope, materials, address, customer details, checklist, site instructions, assigned crew or subcontractor, files, and recorded labor cost.
Can I attach licenses, insurance, and other business documents?
Yes. Business documents and job files can be attached to the work order so the assigned installer can access the information made available for that project. Examples include a contractor license, certificate of insurance, permits, safety documents, warranties, product data, and site photos.
Can I customize what appears on a work order?
Yes. Add notes, photos, custom line items, checklists, special site instructions, and supporting files so the assigned crew receives the information required for that particular job.
Can I assign work to subcontractors?
Yes. A work order can be assigned to an in-house crew or subcontractor, with the related scope, checklist, schedule, files, and recorded pay kept with the job.
Does Floor Nexus pay subcontractors?
Floor Nexus records crew or subcontractor pay against the job for operational and reporting purposes. Recording an amount in the work order does not by itself send a payroll or subcontractor payment unless a separate supported payment workflow is used.
